CLEVELAND, OHIO, June 29, 2026 – Barnes Wendling CPAs has been awarded a 2026 Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces honor by cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

A list of the 191 winners can be found here, and includes employers with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties. The workplaces are broken into four categories: largest (1,000 or more employees), large (with 500 to 999 employees), midsize (with 150 to 499 employees), and small (149 employees and fewer).
Any organization with at least 35 employees in an 11-county area across Northeast Ohio could participate, and there was no cost for employees to take the anonymous survey.
This is the fifth consecutive year that Barnes Wendling CPAs has been honored with a Top Workplaces award.
